Michigan Street Bridge |
|
The Michigan Street Bridge is one of soon to be three bridges that cross the ship canal in Sturgeon Bay connecting Upper Door County with Lower Door County and the rest of the state. Built in 1930, the Michigan Street Bridge is one of the busiest bridges in Wisconsin in total openings which allow a variety of boats to pass through on their journeys to either Lake Michigan or Green Bay. The bridge is scheduled to undergo major rehabilitation beginning in the fall of 2008. |
